New Domino’s To Open Before Christmas
Ramsey is getting a new takeaway option for the festive season, and it’s now been confirmed when it’ll open.
Domino’s has said its new Peel Street branch in Ramsey will open its doors on December 22, giving the north another place to panic-order food when the fridge is full of ‘bits’ no one wants to eat.
The Ramsey store will join the existing outlets in Douglas and Onchan, operating 11am to 11pm, seven days a week.
The chain is still on the hunt for staff, including shift managers, pizza-makers and delivery drivers.
Store manager Liam Hill said: ‘We’re excited to come to the town of Ramsey to deliver the nation’s favourite pizza. We are passionate about enhancing our new community with employment opportunities, where people can grow and develop their careers.
‘Over 90 percent of Domino’s store managers started in-store or as a delivery driver, so whether you’re looking for a few extra hours or a completely new career path, there are roles to suit everyone.’
The new outlet will be serving all the usual Domino’s staples, Pepperoni Passion, Vegi Supreme, along with newer creations like its Festive One and the Hot Honey & Nduja range.
Whether they become Ramsey favourites remains to be seen, especially with plenty of established local takeaways already battling for the town’s stomachs.
To mark the launch, Domino’s is holding a ribbon-cutting ceremony on December 22, with the public invited to meet the team and try some freshly prepared pizza.
Anyone interested in joining the staff can email iomdominos@gmail.com or ask in store.
