New Home for Isle of Gelato as Laxey Store Opens
Isle of Gelato has officially opened its new premises in Laxey, moving into the former Chinese Phoenix takeaway on Main Road.
After several months of refurbishing the site, the business opened its doors at 10am yesterday (Saturday, December 6). The move marks the end of its Bucks Road shop in Douglas.
After a busy first day, the team said: ‘Yesterday was amazing.
We were so overwhelmed and happy to see you all, Thank you everyone for sharing this day with us. And big shout out to Laxey community for excepting us with love and lots of good wishes’.
When announcing the relocation, the team confirmed they had purchased the former Phoenix site near the tram station and would continue offering their gelato and pizzas.
