Derry’s Cash Boost for Hospice
‘The Story of the World-Famous Purple Helmets’ is on sale in stores across the island.
It sold at speeds approaching 100 copies an hour and Derry Kissack’s book has raised £2,000 for Isle of Man Hospice.
With the helmets having retired, Derry wrote his book ‘The Story of the World-Famous Purple Helmets’, which is on sale in stores across the island.
The voice of the world famous Purple Helmets, Derry has split the proceeds of the book, between Hospice and the restoration of Ramsey’s Queens Pier.
Derry recently paid a trip up to Hospice to hand over the cheque to CEO John Knight.
Hospice Isle of Man had a very simple message for the legendary Derry ‘THANK YOU’.
