Peel St. John’s Cricket Club has raised £1,230 for Diabetes Isle of Man in memory of Brian Wozniak.

The cash was raised through a memorial game and family fun day.

Brian, 41, died last year and played for the club, as well as Western Vikings Rugby Club.

Alongside the match, a BBQ and other family activities, the club held a raffle with some incredible prizes.

Diabetes Isle of Man said: ‘The total donated was an amazing £1,230, so we organised for Natasha to go down to the club today, to meet some of the members & to accept this incredible donation. A huge thank you to everybody who donated in memory of Brian & to the PSJ Cricket Club for choosing Diabetes Isle of Man. We are so grateful!’
