With Hospice celebrating its 40th year in 2023, its staff are stepping up to undertake a 40 hour challenge.

The challenge has been organised by the amazing Emma Whiting, who was one of Gef’s 30Under30 winners.

To support the amazing in-patient unit team, who are always on their feet, their colleagues at Hospice will be walking on a treadmill for 40 hours.

She said: ‘The nursing staff couldn’t do their job without of the rest of the Hospice team so I am delighted that we have over 20 staff taking part in this on an hour rota over the 40hrs.’

You can donate to the challenge here.

40 Years

This year marks Hospice Isle of Man’s 40th year and CEO John Knight has set a 40-4-40 challenge where you have to undertake a challenge that relates to the number 40, within a two week window up to July 22!

The target is to raise money that relates to 40 (eg £40 or £400) and then challenge four other people to do a challenge and to tag Hospice on social media to see what you’re doing.
