Peel RNLI has congratulated volunteers Emma Le Cornu and Matt Corlett for completing their latest training.
Peel’s lifeboat was launched 10 times throughout 2022, half of which were in darkness.
After a lot of practice and a weekend of assessments by the RNLI, Emma is now qualified as a tractor driver for the launch and recovery rig.
Meanwhile, Matt has succeeded in meeting the requirements as head launcher and tractor driver.
Peel RNLI said: ‘They both contribute to the work of Peel Lifeboat in other ways. Emma is the Chairman of our Fundraising Crew. Matt serves afloat on the lifeboat. Their dedication and hard work is to be applauded!’
