Big Birthday Bash for Lady Isabella!

Hold on to your hard hats, folks – our very own Lady Isabella (aka the Great Laxey Wheel) is turning 170 and MNH are throwing her a party to remember!

Her actual birthday is tomorrow (Friday), but her party will be held on Saturday as the island celebrates the world’s largest working waterwheel hitting the big 1-7-0.

And there’s a full day of FREE entry, fun, and festivities.

Expect all the classics: games, a trail, and even a chance to get up close and personal with the famous T-Rocker that’s undergoing major works  (no, not the dinosaur… but it’s still pretty cool).

Feel like scaling the heights of history? You can climb up Lady Isabella herself for those stunning Laxey views.

Oh, and for the die-hard history fans, there’s a special Hard Hat Tour at 1pm (limited spots, so book ahead or you might miss out!).

Dress for the Manx weather (so, layers), and don’t forget your sturdy shoes -it should be a wheel-y good time!
