CAMRA Beer & Cider Fest Returns to Villa

Get your pint glasses ready folks – the Isle of Man Beer and Cider Festival is returning!

CAMRA has officially announced the dates for the 12th edition of this beloved event, which will take place from Thursday, April 10 to Saturday, April 12 at the Villa Marina.

More than 2,000 visitors are expected to descend on the Royal Hall to sample 120 real ales from across the UK, locally brewed beers, and a mouth-watering selection of ciders, perries, fruit wines, and mead. With plenty of space and seating, it’s the perfect place to settle in and raise a glass (or three).

Affordable Fun Thanks to Sponsors

Thanks to the continued support of Advocates Humphrey & Helfrich, ticket prices are staying nice and affordable.

You can grab yours in advance from the Villa Gaiety box office, the Welcome Centre at the Sea Terminal, or online.

If you’re a spur-of-the-moment kind of person, tickets will also be available at the door during the festival.

Volunteers Needed

Festival organisers are once again calling on volunteers to help make the event a success.

According to media liaison officer Roger Cave, volunteers are the backbone of the festival, helping with everything from setting up the bars to pulling pints and tidying up at the end.

What To Expect

Last year’s festival went big, celebrating the RNLI’s 200th anniversary with a ceremonial keg carried in by Captain Stephen Carter of the Laxey Towing Company.

While this year’s theme hasn’t been revealed yet, one thing’s for sure: the drinks will be flowing, the atmosphere will be buzzing, and the memories (for most) will be unforgettable.
