While last night’s sprinkling of snow was pretty, it has led to issues this morning.

For starters, the Mountain Road is closed.

This morning’s Loganair flights have been cancelled, this includes the Liverpool, Manchester and Birmingham outbound flights and the return trips.

Manx Care says that there will be no disruption to clinics and appointments today. If you have any concerns about a planned hospital appointment today, contact the Patient Information Centre on 650103 (option 1). If you’re concerned about an appt outside of the hospital, contact the unit you’re due to attend (direct dial or via Manx Care switchboard 650000)

The Mountain was closed late last night as conditions worsened while the West Baldwin Road is also closed.

Elsewhere roads are open but there is ice on some of them, so maybe take your time or leave a bit earlier.

The airport is open but there may be some delays (see above) and there is ice around the terminal. Check your apps or the airport website for news on delays.

The cops have said the main roads have been gritted, but some B roads will have ice, they say that you should ‘only drive if you need to’ and sorry kids, the schools are open.

Peel Golf Course is closed.

The buses are runnin.
