Firework Displays 2025 – All You Need To Know
Listen up, pyromaniacs, Gef has done the legwork (well, finger work) to round up all the public firework and bonfire displays across the island this year (now that all dates have been confirmed after some rescheduling).
From postponed Peel shenanigans to Mooragh Park sparkle-fests, we’ve got the lowdown on where to find the biggest bangs, brightest sparks, and tastiest snacks.
So grab your hats, wrap up warm, and get ready to ooh and aah this bonfire season…
Peel’s Pop Goes Later
Peel Town Commissioners were originally planning a firework spectacular on October 30, but the Galaxy Fireworks shipment hit a delay.
Fear not, the show has been rescheduled for 7pm on November 5. Perfect timing to double up with Bonfire Night celebrations. Best spot to watch is the prom or the beach!
Ramsey’s Sparkle-Fest
Ramsey’s display at Mooragh Park will now take place at 7.30pm on Sunday, November 2.
Get your cameras ready as those insta-worthy sparks aren’t going to capture themselves.
The Ramsey Park Hotel reminds anyone with a firework package booking to get in touch and sort their plans.
Douglas Does Bonfire Night Right
As ever, Douglas City Council is keeping things classic with its annual display on November 5, off the promenade. Fireworks start at 7pm, so bring a coat, a hot chocolate, and maybe your earplugs.
Garff and Maughold Keep the Flame Alive
Garff Commissioners will hold their display on November 1 at Laxey Valley Gardens from 7pm, while Maughold Parish Social Club is lighting up Dhoon Church Field at 6.30pm on Saturday, November 8, complete with hotdogs and soup for £1.50. Bargain.
Port Erin Stays Dark
Sadly, Port Erin will once again not have a display, with commissioners citing budget issues. The last one was way back in 2021 – so maybe time to visit another village instead.
Despite some delays, the island is set for a sparkling season of bonfires, fireworks, and community cheer. Just remember, safety first, marshmellows second.
