All food and drink providers have been invited to an open meeting to share plans for a Proposed TT Foodies Village.

The meeting is being organised by Douglas Foodies Market.

Plans for this year’s TT include a foodie village near the Grandstand.

The organisers said: ‘With the support of DEFA and the Dept. of Enterprise, our ambition is to create a must go to attraction where vsitors can discover, buy and eat a wide selection of locally produced food and drink.

‘The secured site is located a stone throw from the grandstand and will have a fully lcenced Manx drinks bar. An informal covered seating for all weather as well as Foodies Markets, craft stalls and local entertainers will be scheduled across the TT fortnight.

‘As a not for profit organisation we will make it as affordble as possible for all sizes of businesses and be respectful of what you can commit to. Come and find out how you can help offer our TT Visitors the great taste of Manx produce’

The meeting is at Noah Bakehouse in Peveril Building, Douglas, from 6pm to 8pm on Thursday, find out more here.

Meanwhile the next Foodies Market is on Saturday on the North Quay from 10am onwards. If you are interested in becoming a trader – email help@manxfmta.im for details
