Foraging Vintners Going into Hibernation
Its products will still be available across the island.
Foraging Vintners, a favoured spot of sun seekers and sunset gazers, will close its bars for the winter later this week.
Its products will still be available across the island.
Owners Ian Swindells and MaryBeth Coll said in a post on Facebook: ‘FV has been operating for six years now and we have seen four prime ministers, three chief ministers, two cancelled TT races, a global pandemic, Brexit, multiple lockdowns, border closures and logistics nightmares.
‘We understand that winter will require some tough choices for all of us. In this we have decided to close our bar premises at the Old Coal Shed and the Cosy Nook this year on Sunday 25 September 2022. We will reopen the premises sometime in middle of March 2023.’
They added that in the meantime, they will be ‘working on increasing our production and improving our facilities’. Their products will be available online through our website and at retailers throughout the island.
And said: ‘On the bright side we will have some new product launches during this time and exciting improvements that we hope to share very soon. We are so thankful and full of gratitude for all the support you have shown our small winery, our team, our island and us. Hope to see you for the last sunsets!’
