Guild Entries Close Tomorrow

If you’ve been meaning to sign up for the Manx Music Festival (or the Guild as many know it) and are still telling yourself ‘I’ll do it later’… this is later.

Organisers of the festival say entries for this year’s competitions close tomorrow (Saturday, January 31), so this is your official last-minute reminder.

The annual celebration of all things musical will return to the Villa Marina from Saturday, April 25 to Saturday, May 2, bringing a full week of singing, playing and nervous pacing backstage.

There’s a wide range of classes to enter, catering for performers of all ages and abilities, whether you’re a seasoned Guild veteran or a first-timer finally giving it a go.

Gef gave the comedy class a go last year, it went down like a lead balloon.

But if you’ve got a tune, an instrument, or a performance you’ve been practising in the kitchen, now’s the time to stop procrastinating and get signed up.
