How Soon Is Too Soon For Christmas Lights?

Get was left blinded last night while cruising along the A2 into Laxey, not by oncoming traffic, but by a full-on festive light display that could probably be seen from space.

We’re talking dazzling, colourful, unapologetically Christmassy lights…in October.

Now, Gef loves a bit of sparkle as much as the next Manx mongoose, but it did raise an important seasonal question: how soon is too soon to start decking the halls?
