Jersey Boys to ‘Work Their Way Back’ at Awards For Excellence
If you were one of the lucky ones at Two Feathers Productions’ Jersey Boys 10-show run at the Gaiety Theatre this summer, chances are you’re still humming along to the classics.
We know we are.
Seriously, if we had a quid for every time we’ve belted out ‘Sherry’, ‘Big Girls Don’t Cry’, ‘Walk Like a Man’, or ‘Who Loves You’, we’d probably be sponsoring next year’s Awards for Excellence!
But fear not, fellow musical lovers – you don’t have to just reminisce about that spectacular July performance any longer.
The Isle of Man’s very own Jersey Boys are dusting off their snazzy suits and tuning up their falsettos for a show-stopping reunion at this year’s Media Isle of Man Awards for Excellence. That’s right, they’re back, baby!
When the curtain dropped on that 10-night extravaganza at the Gaiety, people were raving. Some called it the best show ever seen on Manx soil (we’d have to agree), with a few bold souls even comparing it to the West End. Yes, the West End. Not too shabby, eh?
The superstar lineup – Joe Hillard (Valli), Jack Divers (Gaudio), Thomas Dixon (Massie), and Charlie Williams (DeVito) – are ready to bring the house down once again to close out the Awards, which will take place on November 21 at the Villa Marina’s Royal Hall.
And while 17 shiny awards will be handed out first to the island’s business and community elite (including a Lifetime Achievement Award), let’s be real: we all know the real show-stopper will be the lads singing ‘Oh What a Night’ under those glittering lights.
Fancy rubbing shoulders with the island’s finest and soaking up some serious Frankie Valli vibes? Of course, you do! You can get your tickets or more info by emailing hello@mediaiom.im.
Now excuse us while we Walk Like a Man to get our tickets…
