Monday Morning Storming

The Mountain Road is now open as normal.

Parts of Port st Mary are without power this morning, with Manx Utilities investigating the issue.

Elsewhere, the Steam Packet has cancelled this morning’s Heysham sailing, as well as the afternoon return.

While the London City flight was cancelled, other flights in and out of Ronaldsway appear to be fine, albeit with some delays.

The Police have also reported the following roads are closed:

Tree down blocking Phildraw Road
Tree down blocking Tosaby Road
Tree down at Sandydate, road is partially blocked.

Roads still closed:
Peel Road in the area of the Brown Bobby from Belmont Hill to Circular Road is closed due to debris and unsafe building.
Clay Head Road is closed due to a fallen tree. DOI will be dealing with this in the morning.
Narrowdale Road is closed, again due to a fallen tree.
There is an overhanging tree on the Kentraugh Back Road. Port St Mary, however the road is open.
There is debris in the area of the Sunken Gardens by the Kiosk at the play park. This has been cordoned off.

The Mountain Road is now open as normal.
