Reduced Bus Service Next Monday
The railways won’t be running either,
The island’s buses will run to a Sunder service next Monday to mark the Queen’s funeral.
Monday September 19 will be a bank holiday to mark the funeral of the Lord of Mann after her death at the age of 96.
Isle of Man Transport has said that as well as working to Sunday timetable, its buses will stop to observe any minute’s silence when it is safe to do so.
It added: ‘Prior to this announcement only the Isle of Man Steam Railway (I.M.R) was scheduled to run on the September 19. Following this announcement services will NOT operate on the 19th as a mark of respect. To be clear no rail services on any of our railways will operate this day.’
