Douglas is about to get a little more Irish!

An all new new Irish pub, Tigh Fitz’s, is set to open its doors today (Wednesday) on Loch Promenade, taking over the space once occupied by the nightclub Bordello.

The nightclub closed in November 2023, and its transformation into an Irish pub marks a new chapter for the popular spot at 6-7 Loch Promenade.

Tigh Fitz’s aims to bring an authentic Irish pub experience to the Isle of Man, offering a warm and friendly atmosphere for patrons.

After all, our capital is twinned with Ballamoney in Northern Ireland.

In addition to a wide selection of drinks, the pub will feature live sports, with the grand opening kicking off with the Celtic Champions League game on the big screens at 8pm tonight.
