Snow and Hail on The Way

A yellow weather warning will kick in this afternoon with wintry conditions expected tomorrow.

Ronaldsway Met Office’s warning will be in place until Tuesday afternoon.

Temperatures will fall quickly later this afternoon with icy patches forming over the hills, and anywhere sheltered from the northerly wind. This will include a large area from Laxey to Port St Mary.

Most places will stay dry overnight but there is a small risk of hail or sleet showers, particularly in the south, which could give slight accumulations.

Snow or hail showers will become more frequent and widespread later on Monday afternoon before generally dying out overnight into Tuesday.

Turning slightly less cold during Tuesday with rain or sleet for a time.
