Take a Ride Through 1896

A YouTuber has created a tour through part of Douglas as it would’ve looked in 1896.
Buugane, who has previously created videos showing the North Quay as it would’ve looked in 1886, posted the video on Saturday.
Posed as a ride on the long ripped up Douglas Cable Tramway, the trip takes people up Prospect Hill and Bucks Road and outlines some of the area’s history along the way.
Check out other videos on the account, they’re quite cool as a way of looking at how a moment of history could’ve looked.
