A meeting to discuss the future of Laxey Fair will be held in the village next month.
This year’s fair was ‘rested’, decision which proved controversial for some residents.
The meeting on Monday July 10 is intended to form a committee and discuss arrangements for next year’s fair.
Garff Commissioners said: ‘Everyone is welcome to attend and get involved in this fantastic opportunity for community engagement.
‘In particular, it would be good to see parents of Laxey School children attend. Involving parents in the organisation of such an important event on the school calendar will help ensure that the fair meets the needs and expectations of the school community.’
The meeting will take place on Monday July 10 at 7pm in the Commissioners’ Boardroom in Laxey.
