World Champion to be Crowned TONIGHT

A new Manx world champion will be crowned tonight as Dalby Schoolrooms hosts the World Bonnag Championships!

One of the absolute highlights of the Manx cultural calendar, baking doesn’t get bigger than this, literally some of them bonnags are freaking massive.

This year the World Championships are sponsored by the Steam Packet, so the winners of each class not only get a trophy but also a £25 Voucher for the Steam Packet.

The overall World Champion will Receive the IoM Creameries Trophy.

To enter, either bring your entries with you on the night if you’re booked to attend the concert (there are still a few tickets available @ £12.50,  so phone Gilly to book if you want to be there, 844031) alternatively drop your Bonnag into the Dalby Schoolrooms between 4pm and 7pm today.

Organisers said: ‘Please bring your Bonnag on a paper plate and write your name, phone number and which class you are entering on the bottom of the plate. Best of Luck!’
