All SNHS Students Back in Class Tomorrow
The contingency measure will be in place until October half-term.
St Ninian’s headteacher Chris Coole has written to parents saying all students can return to school tomorrow.
Some year groups have been made to stay at home due to issues around cover break times.
The plans will see the school through to October half-term, as talks between DESC and unions continues.
Mr Coole said: ‘I am pleased to report that we have been able to put contingency arrangements in place up until at least October half term which means we now have sufficient supervision to be able to safely accommodate all year groups back in school despite the ongoing industrial action.
This will take effect from tomorrow which means that all year groups should attend school as normal from Wednesday 28th September and the previous summary of when students should remain at home can be disregarded.
‘As it stands these are just contingency arrangements and I will be in touch again closer to the half term break should there be any further changes required after that.’
