Evie’s Talking in the Dark

A Ballakermeen student has launched her own podcast aiming to rid the stigma and stereotypes around disabilities.

Evie Roberts’ ‘Talking in the Dark’ wants to raise awareness about ‘blindness, visual impairment and disability in general, in a happy and light-hearted way’.

In her first episode, which a friend of Gef’s forwarded to us last night, Evie sat down with the MSPCA’s Krysia Boruch and her tortoise Michelle.

They talk about a range of things from the staff at the MSPCA to working with what could seen as difficult dogs and avoiding tarantulas to working with blind dogs.
