The cinema is about to get very busy, with Indiana Jones, Barbie, Oppenheimer and Mission Impossible all coming to our silver screens this month. But what about our telly picks?

John Krasinski returns in his fourth and final outing as the titular character in this unforgettable action series.

Recently promoted to acting deputy director at the CIA, Jack Ryan has to track down the corruption which runs deep within the organisation while also preventing the terror plans of a Burmese terror outfit. Krasinski has been a perfect fit for this role since his the show’s first season in 2018 and will no doubt continue to be fantastic throughout the final season.

Binge-worthy box sets

The Full Monty

A sequel to the 1997 film of the same name, The Full Monty series takes place 25 years later. The comedy drama follows the band of brothers long after they stopped getting in the buff.

It stars Robert Carlyle, reprising his role as Gaz, Mark Addy, Steve Huison, Hugo Speer, Tom Wilkinson, and Paul Barber.

And if you’re in the mood for more, Two Feather Productions is bringing the original stage musical to the Gaiety Theatre from July 15 to 22.
