Laxey’s New Headteacher (for the day)

Ollie Kennaugh will take the reins of Laxey Primary School next week, as he becomes headteacher for the day.

He was the lucky winner to receive the grand prize at Last Years school Mhelliah to become ‘Headteacher for the day’.

Ollie will take over the school on Tuesday and has made some very welcome decisions to ensure his fellow pupils have a great end to their school year as he has hired out the Fun Farm for the entire day!

That is a day full of bowling, roller skating, laser blast (where no-one comes last) and everything else the Fun Farm has to offer.

Ollie said: ‘ wanted to treat the whole school because they’ve worked really hard this year. I hope all the children have a good time and I’m looking forward to the day.’

We understand a request from Mr Astin to take the day off to play golf was, sadly, turned down.
