Updated: Crews Deal with Fire
The property is in St John’s near Tynwald Mills.
Crews are now in the process of making up equipment at Glen Mooar after eight breathing apparatus personnel were deployed along with the ALP to extinguish the fire that was mostly confined within the Chimney stacks.
Fire crews from Peel and Douglas were called to deal with a smoke logged property on Glen Mooar road.
The property is in St John’s near Tynwald Mills.
A spokesperson said they have been committed and we are currently utilising the ALP (Aerial ladder platform) for an aerial attack.
The fire started within the chimney.
