Drone Flyer Arrested

Police have arrested a person for flying a drone near Ballaugh Bridge.

The course is a no fly zone during racing.

The Police said: ‘They pose a risk to the racers, spectators and the medical aircraft operating around the island, that’s why they’re not allowed whilst the roads are closed for racing.’
