Fire Crews Cut Person from Crash
All three emergency services were called to the same this morning
A person is in hospital after sustaining injuries in a two vehicle crash in Jurby.
Emergency services were called to Jurby just before 10.25am this morning.
Fire crews said on arrival they discovered that one person was trapped in one of the vehicles as a result of their injuries.
They said: ‘Crews quickly worked to stabilise the vehicles to ensure it was safe for initial first aid to be administered.
‘The police secured the road and the ambulance administered first aid to the casualty whilst the extrication took place.
‘The casualty was safely extricated using cutting equipment and the ambulance took the casualty to hospital to be treated for their injuries.’
