Two crews from Douglas have just dealt with a kitchen fire at a property in Woodbourne Road.

The owners returned home to find their home full of smoke and smoke alarms sounding and promptly phoned for the Fire Service.

A crew wearing breathing apparatus entered and found the fire involving the hob in the kitchen, they used a hose reel to extinguish and then proceeded to vent the property using a positive pressure fan, they were in attendance for approx 45 minutes.
