Three Cut From Cars After Crash
The island’s services were helped by the Great North Air Ambulance Service
The Fire Service says it has used hydraulic cutting equipment to rescue people from cars after a crash on the mountain this morning.
The two vehicle collision happened just before 8am on the Mountain Mile.
The service said: ‘Upon arrival crews were faced with two vehicles, containing a total of three casualties that required extrication using battery powered hydraulic cutting equipment.
‘All three services worked together to free the casualties who were then transferred to the care of the Isle of Man Ambulance Service who were also assisted by the Great North Air Ambulance Service.’
