Three Men Arrested After Sloc Incident
The road and surrounding area was closed and searched by officers last Thursday.
Police have confirmed that three local men were arrested and a sizeable amount of drugs have been seized after an incident on the Sloc.
The road and surrounding area was closed and searched by officers last Thursday.
A statement said: ‘Further to the incident at The Sloc in the South of the island on Thursday October 26 2023, we are now in a position to confirm three local men were located and arrested on suspicion of drug related offences.
‘Following their arrest and interview, all three men were bailed from the Police Station pending further enquiries. This was as a result of a large amount of Class A and Class B drugs seized from the area where we conducted our searches during the road closure. We thank the public again for their patience whilst the road was closed.’
The Police previously said that a car was stopped at 12.10am on Thursday October 26, following which the vehicle made off before the occupants ‘decanted’.
