A Howling Success

Hound and Howl has been awarded best stand at this year’s Food and Drink Festival.

The natural dog food supplier was presented with the award by DEFA Minister Clare Barber.

Richie Cryer received the award for the company which said: ‘We are thrilled to have won the title for best stand at the festival! We’re dedicated to creating sustainable Manx dog treats, as we transform unused parts into incredibly healthy treats.

‘These treats not only reduce our carbon pawprint, but they also provide amazing health benefits for your dogs. Thank you for supporting our mission to make a positive impact on the environment and your dog’s well-being.’

Coming in second was The Manx Gourmet Mushroom Farmer represented by Gary Coleman.

Niarbyl’s Cushlin Seafoods, which had a brilliant display complete with a boat, came third, with owner Allan Kermode pictured with Mrs Barber. 

There were so many wonderful producers and stalls at this year’s show, if you missed it, you really missed out.
