The Gold Standard of Cheeses

The Global Cheese Awards took place in Frome last week and confirmed what every sane person on this island knows, Manx cheese is the best.

Isle of Man Creamery picked up three gold awards at the awards.

It said: ‘We were delighted to be the winner of three Gold Awards for our Vintage Red Leicester, Garlic and Chive and Peppercorn in addition to winning the best territorial cheese in show for Vintage Red Leicester!

‘Surely that’s as good an excuse as you’re going to get to go and pick some up to celebrate with us!’
