Island Featured on Songs of Praise
Songs of Praise is on 12.25pm on BBC One.
The island’s nature will be featured on Songs of Praise on Sunday.
Filming took place with Manx Wildlife Trust and Cafe Lingo in the spring.
MWT said team wilder coordinator Lucy Chapman and communications officer Rachael Harrop will star in the show front by Aled ‘Walking in the Air’ Jones.
The topics covered include the Team Wilder project and Rachael’s involvement with a community project at Patrick Church, which yes does include her sheep.
Cafe Lingo is featured, with Aled meeting Karen Norton to discuss her work with helping people to learn English.
Aled’s trip to the island also pays a visit to Peel Cathedral and explores the island’s Celtic and Christian past.
Songs of Praise is on 12.25pm on BBC One.
