Yellow Ice Warning Issued

A weather warning is in place tonight for icy patches as temperatures plummet.

The areas most at risk are sheltered valleys and areas above around 1,200FT.

Ronaldsway Met Office says the warning will be in play from 7pm tonight until 10am Saturday morning.

It said: ‘Ground temperatures expected to fall below ZERO this evening and overnight leading to a risk of icy patches forming in areas that are damp/wet, although many surfaces will remain dry.’
