MWT Recruiting for New Role
The job comes with a salary of £30,000 to £35,000 and the closing date is Sunday October 29
Manx Wildlife Trust is looking for someone to lead its nature conservation and restoration work across the island.
The island’s largest conservation charity is now in its 51st year.
The role necessitates the post holder to work closely and collaboratively with MWT colleagues, key partners, and stakeholders, including the gov, other conservation organisations, The Wildlife Trusts federation, and the island’s farming community.
It will see the person work with each of these partners to deliver MWT’s mission to ‘protect and enhance our environment, create more spaces for wildlife, and inspire people to act for nature.’
The charity said: ‘This is a brand-new role for MWT, and the successful candidate will have the wonderful opportunity to lead MWT’s conservation team and direct the management of all our land holdings. This comes at an exciting time, when we are experiencing increasing importance, reach and impact for the charity and our environmental work.
‘The opportunity we have now, across our whole IOM nation and UNESCO Biosphere, through agri-environment, biodiversity net gain and Environmental Social Governance, has never been greater. This role is key for us to maximise these opportunities.’
The job comes with a salary of £30,000 to £35,000 and the closing date is Sunday October 29. For more info, click here.
