Fresh Bid Made to Build Flats
The site includes 12 parking spaces, two per unit, with a cycle storage rack also provided.
A company which had its plans to replace a derelict building with six flats refused by planners has launched a new bid with a fresh application.
ASAP LTD, registered at c/o 18 Victoria Street, Douglas, has a submitted the fresh application (23/01424/B) for Sea Court, Victoria Road, Douglas.
The plan is to replace the block of three flats with a new block of six, with parking and facilities, as well as improvements the highway.
Each of the six flats would have its outdoor space, either a terrace or balcony, with the exception of the first-floor rear unit in order to respect the privacy of a neighbouring property.
The site includes 12 parking spaces, two per unit, with a cycle storage rack also provided.
Architects Savage Chadwick supporting documents says that the application has been created to attempt to resolve issues which led to the previous one being rejected, including issues around scale, character and loss of biodiversity.
