Just the six questions this week and they all come from the man from Arbory, Castletown and Malew Jason Moorhouse.

So who is going in the chair? Who will know their specialist subject like the back of their hand? And who will fall at the first hurdle.

First to face the man with all the questions is Minister for the Cabinet Office Kate Lord-Brennan, her first question is on visas, namely how many have been issued in each of the last four years to enable people to work on the island?

Turning his attention to his own favourite subject, musical theatre, Mr Moorhouse will ask DESC Minister Julie Edge, what mechanisms are in place to minimise the cost to government of productions at the Villa Marina and Gaiety Theatre?

Captain of the Starship Enterprise Lawrie Hooper is next in the chair as he takes questions on his specialist subject, the Domestic Events Fund and how many successful applications it has received since November 22 2022? No doubt he chose 22/11/22 as one for the palindrome fans, I’m sure.

DoI Minister Chris Thomas will then face the wrath of Mr Moorhouse as he asks him what the policy is with regard to leaving cars unattended whilst dropping off disabled people, and others with restricted movement, outside the airport building?

Moving away from ministers, Mr Moorhouse will be putting MUA chairman Tim Johnston to the chair, not in that way, as he asks how much of the £26m allocated to the authority has been used to assist with keeping electricity prices down, no doubt there will be a follow up based on the fall in the cost of wholesale gas and Isle of Man Energy having two likely tariff drops in three months.

The final question goes the way of Ramsey MHK Dr Alex Allinson, though he looks suspicious familiar to Treasury Minister Dr Alex Allinson. However, this question relates to his consultation on assisted dying so it is as an MHK, not as a minister he is answering. Still with us?

Anyway, the question is how many paper copies of the consultation on assisted dying were issued between December 1 2022 and January 4 2023?

With that, there is just the consideration of LegCo amendments to the Capacity Bill and we’ll be done by lunchtime with any luck.
