Public Meeting Called

Stephen Carter, Captain of the Parish of Lonan has called a requisition meeting which will take place at Laxey Working Men’s Institute at 7pm on Thursday January 5.

The meeting is to discuss the proposed changes to the shelter on Laxey Prom.

The future of the shelter has caused much debate in the village this year as disagreements between the local authority and the owners of Laxey Beach Shop Cafe.

Garff Commissioners unveiled plans for the shelter in November.
