Appeal for Marshals After Ferry Cancellations
When the boats do sail later today, the Ben will be going to Belfast, with Manannan will sail to Liverpool.
Organisers of the MGP are asking anyone who wants to marshal to sign up.
With all of this morning’s ferries cancelled, a number of marshals and competitors have taken to social media to say they are now struggling to get to the island.

With marshals struggling to get to the island, there is evident concern around the first sessions for the centenary MGP.
Organisers said: ‘The cancellation of the Saturday morning sailings due to poor weather conditions is expected to cause some disruption to marshalling numbers for the opening days of the Manx Grand Prix and as such we’d like to encourage anyone that wishes to marshal during this period to sign-on.
