Club’s Pitch Vandalised
The club had played on the pitch on Friday evening.
St John’s United says the club’s pitch has been damaged by someone riding a bike over it.
The pitch was already in a bit of a state after Friday night’s 3-3 draw against Douglas Royals, as the two clubs played in heavy rain.
The club tweeted: ‘As if there wasn’t enough work to do on the pitch after Friday night’s game, some bright spark has taken it upon themselves to ride a bike in circles round the wet pitch. Fixtures are tough enough to get on at the moment even without some absolute waste of oxygen about!’
