Players of the Month
Peel’s Luke Doherty and Rushen’s Scott Mason have been named the Canada Life International player and u21 player of the month.
Both defenders have received wide praise for their recent performances and were presented with their awards by Canada Life’s Victoria Hotchkiss.
Coppers
The Police is recruiting for new for constables and specials. There are two drop in sessions for anyone interested, the first is for people looking at being in the specials next Monday at 6.30pm at the Civil Defence Conference Room in Tromode.
The following week is at the TT Press Centre at the Grandstand from 6pm for constables.

Museum Theft
Over 400 Brownies, Cubs and their leaders from across the island had a private viewing of the film “Night at the Museum” interupted by a ‘serious crime’ at the Manx Museum on Friday night.
The priceless Castle Rushen Ruby was stolen from one of the cases in the Medieval Gallery with the police called to investigate and the various Brownie and Cub packs helped to solve the mystery by deciphering clues which ranged from dusty footprints to handwriting recognition.
MNH said: ‘The entire charade was tremendously popular. Once the crime had been cracked, and under Police arrest, the offender was “booed” out of museum. Apparently it was an inside job.’
The ‘The Big Lock In’ was jointly organised by MNH and Girlguiding and Scouting Isle of Man to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Manx Museum.
Su Simpson, Island Commissioner for Girlguiding Isle of Man, said: ‘Girlguiding Isle of Man enjoys working with other organisations, so when we were approached by the Manx Museum to help celebrate their 100th anniversary we embraced the opportunity.’
