Oram was named player of the month with Mason the under 21 player.
Ayre’s Danny Oram and Rushen Scott Mason have been named players of the month for October.
Oram was named player of the month with Mason the under 21 player.
Ayre United forward Oram, was given the top spot by the Media Isle of Man ratings panel with 9.5 points, 1.5 points clear of second placed Lee Gale (who was last month’s winner), and his Ayre team-mate, Shaun Kelly in third with 7 points.
He is currently the league’s top scorer and six of them came during October; arguably the most important was versus Ramsey, when his single goal earned Ayre all three points.
Rushen United FC defender Mason continued to impress as one of the league’s most consistent defenders. After a tricky start to the season, the spaniards are now finding some form. Two of Mason’s team-mates also finished in the top seven: Stephen Riding (4th) and Jamie Johnson (6th).
