Douglas Royal’s Kayleigh Georgeson and Onchan’s Caitlin Beaty have picked up the players of the month awards for October.
Kayleigh won the senior prize with Caitlin’s performances in goal seeing her getting her hands on the u21 award.
The Isle of Man FA said: ‘Douglas Royal’s versatile Georgeson has been impressing opposition teams this season, earning her the league’s top player award. Kayleigh – who was part of the Canada Life Isle of Man team at this year’s Island Games (her third Island Games) – accepted the award with her team mates following their match vs Peel on Sunday afternoon.
‘Caitlin Beaty is new to the Canada Life Women’s League and Onchan A.F.C this season, having only recently turned 16, but she’s put in some stand-out performances in goal. Beaty is also part of the IOMFA Academy set up and plays for Colby in the Under 16 league, so could be claiming U21 Player of the Month awards for many years to come!’
