MGP Inquests to Open
Both men died in separate crashes during this year’s qualifying sessions.
The Coroner of Inquests will tomorrow open the inquests of Gary Vines and Ian Bainbridge.
Both men died in separate crashes during this year’s qualifying sessions.
Mr Vines, 33, from Colchester, died in an incident at Ballagarey in the first qualifying session of this year’s MGP on Sunday August 20.
Mr Bainbridge, 69, from Barnard Castle, was killed in a crash on the exit of Kirk Michael village on his first lap of the qualifying session held on Tuesday August 22.
The inquests will be opened and adjourned at 2pm on Thursday at Douglas Courthouse.
