Police Investigating Assault Allegation

The Police are investigating after allegations were made that a wrestler assaulted a child at last night’s Megaslam Wrestling event at the Villa Marina.

A post on a local Facebook page from a woman saying she is the child’s mother has been widely shared on the island.

She has claimed that her son was left with a bloody nose and was helped back to his friends by other people in attendance.

A Police spokesman said: ‘We are aware of this allegation and the full circumstances are being investigated.’
