FC Isle of Man is inviting applications for a new permanent manager.

Paul Jones has been in interim charge sine the club made the decision to sack Chris Bass Snr earlier this season.

The club said that is it imperative that it begins its search now, while stressing it does not impact on Jones’ immediate future.

A statement said that Jones has been made aware of the process and that the club ‘would welcome him to apply for the job himself on a permanent basis’.

It added: ‘As a club still in its infancy we hope to get as many applications as possible based on the criteria provided so as to be able to pick a manager who we feel can continue to move the team forward and continue to provide the excitement that our fans crave throughout next season.’

All applicants are asked to send an expression of interest to chair@fcisleofman.im and you will receive a copy of the criteria for the role. Applications close March 24.
