Rowing for Rebecca House
The challenge starts at 8am on Saturday
This weekend, Quay Fitness Gym Ramsey members are challenging themselves to row for 24 hours on a rowing machine to raise money for Rebecca House.
It is pat of the gym’s year long efforts to raise money for the charity.
Starting at 8am on Saturday morning, gym goers will row through the day and night, finishing up on Sunday morning.
Away from the rowing, the gym’s photo challenge will also be in support of Rebecca House with Quay Fitness staff and gym members challenging themselves to get fit and in shape this year all in aid of the charity.
Organiser Ste Bush said: ‘The goal is to get in shape for a professional photoshoot in the last week in July leaving them only six months to prepare for this. They are all funding this themselves and are donating to the charity.
‘Taking part in the challenge we have a diverse group of 42 people of all genders and ages varying from 15-63!’
The gym is also organising a 7-a-side football competition taking part on Easter Monday where money raised will again be donated to Rebecca house as well as other organised activities.
Good luck guys!
