Keith McSween has retired after 49 years with the company
The Steam Packet has bid farewell to a long standing member of crew, as the Ben-my-Chree’s chief cook retires.
Keith McSween has retired after 49 years with the company.
Having started his time aboard as a galley boy, Keith rose through the kitchen ranks and was responsible for much of the scran aboard the Ben.
His final sailing was celebrated with a picture on the pier with colleagues, which was met with messages of thanks from passengers and best wishes from former crew members.
The company said: ‘Thanks for all your hard work Keith, enjoy your retirement!’
